they had killed a zillion monsters during the run and then dean just gets killed by some rando vampire. it was just anti-climactic, and not in an "well that's how shit really happens Omar's death sort of way.

The whole episode was supposed to be much more of a celebration for the fans, with lots of cameos, but, like so many things, covid ruined that. It just didn't make sense to bring people in to Canada to quarantine for 2 weeks for a 3 minute cameo.
