Not many operating 747s left. I remember growing up and reading about them and seeing pictures, always hoping to see one in real life. Sort of like the gas hog cars of the 70s their time is past.

never been on one either. Flew first class back from Japan on a 787 Dreamliner. So Kev, how does switching jobs affect your kid's rooting interests? Do you just tell them, Hey Kids, we aren't Astros fans anymore, now we are Braves fans! Or are they still like Royals or Rangers fans from being younger and are just rooting for Dad's team on the side?I'm not expecting to grow flowers in the desert...Comment

My oldest daughter and one of my youngest daughters are marginal baseball fans at best, so they switched allegiance easily, to the extent that they care. My other youngest daughter is more of a fan, and she's pretty much fully a Braves fan now. My middle son is probably still more of an Astros fan than a Braves fan, but Astros games aren't typically on in our house any more, and he doesn't really seek them out.
