Statements like "in minutes" always confuse me, even when they aren't in relation to instantly.

Any number of minutes is in minutes. The only thing not "in minutes" is something less than a minute (and, in that instance you could argue that it's in 0 minutes).

So in minutes tells me it's either 2 minutes or 17 minutes or 1,203,920,202,815,711 minutes, or somewhere in between (or somewhere more, or somewhere less).

The net result is that it basically tells me... nothing at all.

But maybe I'm too literal.
