That question came up because RJEL Girl was watching some HBO special on George Michaels and Liam was one of the people she was interviewing. She said she couldn't understand a word he said. I saw them back in... hmmm... the early 2000s? and had the same reaction... Since 2010, Joey Votto has popped out to an infielder only eight (!!!!!) times. If he'd been popping up at league average, he would have popped up 534 times during that same timeframe. He has never popped up to a pitcher, catcher, or 1B in his career.
