It is an enormous blind spot that he has done next to nothing to address.
My objection was mostly that what he said wasn't precise and could be misinterpreted. He gave no examples or discussion until prompted.

I too witnessed both my wife's c-sections and I'm normally pretty weak for blood but I was fine the first one but nearly fainted at the second.

It was so brutal and violent - I just wasn't expecting that level of violence, I guess. It all happened pretty quickly, going from the hospital bed to "oh shit, we need to get this kid out NOW". She was, of course, medicated to high heaven so I would look down at her trying to keep my cool and reassure her and stuff and then peek back over the curtain to witness the bloodbath. I wish I had a picture of the doctor on the table covered in blood. It was insane.

I think it's because socialists generally believe that economic class transcends all other groupings so they do have blind spots on demographic concerns. So although they recognize that inequalities aren't limited to class, they believe that attacking from that angle provides the most bang for their buck.

I can imagine. My wife's weren't as violent and the second was scheduled.

Dang, dude. Just reading this makes me feel stuff. I hope everything goes well. Your daughter is just about the same age as my son. I'm not a praying type of guy but I really, really hope that all goes well for you and your family.

Seems like I've gone from needing power to needing speed. Since it's a 50 rounder, I'm just going to be stockpiling talent for a little while. I definitely learned that you cannot really draft too much pitching in these things, though. By the end of the year last year I had no starting pitchers available on the bench at all, even though I had 27 reserves in total.

I really like it, but, yeah, you need speed. And remember that Pham is almost certainly going to miss time...

I have a couple injury risks but the massive reserve roster should make that okay. What I've learned through doing a couple of these NFBC drafts is that you will burn through five hundred gajillion pitchers and it's near impossible to draft too many of them. Last year I finished the season with no starting pitchers left on my bench because so many of them had become injured throughout the season. I think I started with 20-odd starters and ended up with 6.

Just picked up Elvis Andrus for SS to nab a few steals. I was starting to lean toward Garrett Hampson but he got picked just before me. His role is undecided but he's the perfect type of shot-in-the-dark NFBC guy to take a chance on.

It's so hard to see your kids go thru stuff like this. Both my daughters have had pretty serious health issues in their teens, it must be even more heart breaking when they are little ones. Really hope things continue in a positive trend. the older i get the more i realize how priceless good health is.

Arenado, Sale, Bryant, Buehler seems like a great start. Trying to figure out what slot you drafted out of to get both Arenado and Sale. Sale must have falled in your league. I'm blindly guessing you picked in the 10 slot.
