    Pulled the trigger and initiated retirement this weekend. They made me an offer I couldn't refuse....but like Arnold I will be back (as a contractor). So not really retiring, but kind of retiring. I get 2 months off anyway which is exciting. 6 more weeks to go ! It's a bit surreal.

                                It's been awhile since my last report. you're welcome...no significant rain since June...wildfires still raging...thick smoke, the houses down the block are hazy. If you step outside your eyes burn. This is crazy stuff for Seattle. It hit 88F a few days ago which is unheard of for this area. Rain allegedly coming Friday.
