      • So I whine about the lack of activity in the Com thread. I go to sleep. Everyone starts posting. I wake up. Everyone is gone.

        • I'm still here! Give me some advice!

So at this late point in the draft, two questions:

          1) Should I just accept last place in CH RBI and CP SO? In SO I at least have a shot of moving up to second-to-last, but I'm not sure there's a reasonable path for RBI, not that I've looked that closely at what positions/letters the other people in poor shape have.

          2) For N and V at this point should I just be happy taking someone that doesn't make me lose points?
In the best of times, our days are numbered, anyway. And it would be a crime against Nature for any generation to take the world crisis so solemnly that it put off enjoying those things for which we were presumably designed in the first place, and which the gravest statesmen and the hoarsest politicians hope to make available to all men in the end: I mean the opportunity to do good work, to fall in love, to enjoy friends, to sit under trees, to read, to hit a ball and bounce the baby.

            1) That's the hard part at this stage ... trying to put all the pieces together at your remaining letters. Lat Name is harder than Decades drafts in this regards because letters are viable at both hitting or pitching.

It's hard to predict final targets, but I would suggest looking at other teams who are close in these categories, eyeballing their possible final totals, and then see if you think you can compete. If not, then try to maximise your numbers elsewhere. but also be careful not to overshoot your targets. Look were your numbers are grouped with other teams and maybe divert attention there.

            2) I'm in the same boat with dross letters. It's all a much-the-sameness at this stage.

            • also, a weird thing that makes me nervous about the spreadsheet - why do the totals change as soon as I type "p9" into the Rounds page for my team? Like, before I have a player or year?

              • If the player Id and year are incorrect, or missing, nothing will work until that is fixed.

                • Fill in the P9 or h6 cell is after the player Id and year.

Can you post your standings so we can see where they are? Hopefully all in one category.
