Felix Hernandez's run of "ultra quality wins" (7 IP, 2 ER or lower) is over at 16 consecutive games (the middle of May). He was pulled tonight after 5 IP (92 pitches thrown and he was hit by a screamer earlier in the game off the top of the right thigh), allowing 2 ER to Detroit. He appeared to be "squeezed" early in the game, driving up his pitch count. It has been an amazing display of pitching.
