Last night the Rays/Rangers had a walk off walk. In the theme of pitching wierdness, same two teams played today: 10-1 the other way. In the 9th inning, the backup catcher took the mound and retired the side in order. All 10 runs were charged to the SP, so the "bullpen" threw shutout ball.

Still more oddity JP Arencibia is the 35th pitcher the Rangers have used this season--new league record. He is the 3rd position player to pitch this season, most in team history.

With less than 3 runs allowed again, the Rays have the longest such road streak of the live ball era.
