Is there any evidence, any at all, that Gibson/HBP had anything to do with McCutchen's injury? I have not seen any.

We used to have a "vent" page, where an understandably upset owner wasn't expected to be weighed down by facts....

So to those of you who have lost Cutch that are in keeper leagues, can you get something for him to make up some of the stats? What would it take for you to trade him?

He is $45 in our NL only league ($260 budget). He is at the top of our pay scale. I am not sure what I could offer or even if I should. I have no x players left.

It's also going to be a lot tougher for McCutchen to win a second consecutive MVP Award if he loses a months worth of games. He would have to hit the ground running and catch fire immediately when he returns.

Just traded Cutch and Doolittle to a guy who really needs saves for....Gio Stanton. Better yet, he made ME the offer after we'd gone back and forth a bit. Bizarre owners sometimes...and funny thing is, there isn't a feeble owner in this whole league, guys are pretty savvy and aren't prone to reckless deals. If Cutch only misses a few more games, this is pretty fair. If he doesn't come back, I got away with highway robbery.
