I don't think he looks like a roid guy more than anyone else. He had his good years (and all of his years, I think) after PED testing was put in place. So, if he was able to use them without detection previously, I don't know why he still wouldn't do it. His problem was that he was a fringe talent (Rule 5 pick years ago) who sold out for power, with a decent eye, but really iffy contact---he had old man skills (and crappy defense) when he was young. That set doesn't age well. Lots of Braves fans (I was on the fence, we needed RH power then, and he wouldn't have signed the extention without this length of contract) saw this coming. Someone might pick him up, hell Toronto looks like an obvious destination, with their injuries and ability to magically help iffy power hitters, but I think he's finished.Originally posted by Pauly View PostComment
