Bench Players

After the draft and the reserve draft (10 rounds) the following players are availiable - 14 team mixed. Pickups are limited (10 on season) and first come.
My team is a lead contender, but have no 3B backup, could use a starter or two until - Minor or Pineda are ready. I post my team seperately in a while.

Wanted to hear thoughts on the following:

Benemit 3B
R. Soriano
Zito
J Garland
Freddy Garcia

Betemit 3B - He is projected to hit 20 HR and I'd have been happy with him at CI in my AL league had I ended up with a $1 player there.
R. Soriano - will post good ratios and a handful of saves, more if Mo breaks down at some point.
Zito
J Garland
Freddy Garcia - hasn't been useful for a few years. He will have good stretches and ugly ones. Pitching in Yankee Stadium makes him a bit scarier.

I think I would wait and save my 10 pickups for a while.

Even though it's a shallow league, I think I'd still want Rafael Soriano. Of course, without knowing your pitching staff or roster composition, that's just a general shot in the dark.

This. In a 14-team mixed there will be better options than Betemit. Save the pickup.
