  • Chris Davis...sigh...

Any reason to believe he hasn't reverted back to the crappy Chris Davis. Any reason?? Give us Davis owners some hope!

Would you look to deal him or wait it out? I guess it depends on what you can get in return. Answered my own question

I just dropped him for Casey Mcgehee.

We'll see. But really he has started rather poorly in the power department and he had been pretty mediocre before 2012.....

Would you trade him (he is keepable for $11 in 2015) for Votto and Fernando Rodney (neither really keepable in 2015)? I could use another closer and trust Votto more than Davis or should i look for a better deal?

in terms of value this year that is a good deal for you.

I'd be concerned about Rodney holding the job all year. Then again, I'd be concerned with the closers from 25 different teams holding their job all year. Be that as it may, I'm not sold on Davis either, and I think I'd do that trade, if I'm playing for this year.
Considering his only baseball post in the past year was bringing up a 3 year old thread to taunt Hornsby and he's never contributed a dime to our hatpass, perhaps?

If you can make a run this year, do the trade. Not too high on Rodney, though; do you need another closer or could you ask for another player + Votto?

I have Cishek and Frieri in a 14 team league so I would like another closer. I don't really like having Frieri but he was a cheap keeper. I am not too high on Rodney either, but he may be the best i can get right now. .i will look for another deal in the meantime.

Chris Davis with a homer in the 1st inning...I am finally beginning to see the power of the Mith reverse jink. Truly, you are made of magic stuff. Could you make your next thread about Carlos Santana? He has been horrid and he needs a Mith bump.

Davis only hit 5 of his 53 HR in April last year. If he hits just one more HR over the next week he'd only be 2 behind last year so I'm not panicking yet.
