Saw that. Wonder if he's worth a big FAAB bid. Could he keep the role?

Wow, I made late night dart throws in 2 of my leagues, making small FAAB bids on Lindstrom and D. Webb.....and won them both in both leagues, hoping for news like this since I only have one closer on both teams. Lindstrom burned me before when he had the job leading up to the draft but lost it within a few weeks, but this is sweet, sweet payback.....wooooo! This is like finding a crisp new $20 bill on the street!

Ventura's an old school guy, he's unconcerned with these percentages you speak of.

Ventura's an idiot...he'll likely be out of a job by mid-season. I'm surprised that they brought him back after that train wreck of a 2nd half last year.

i FAAB'ed him this weekend, and then forgot to move him from my bench to active roster. he'll probably get 4 saves this week, then implode.

9th Inning...so far. A shot to the wall in right, nice catch by Garcia. Double by Colabello...K's Plouffle, which I could do. Jams Arcia for a dribbler to end the game. I give him 3 weeks, only because Ventura isn't all that bright...I think Nolan Ryan knocked the sense right out of him.

So the real questions now are:
                      - is Nate Jones really the next in line?
                      - if you are fortunate to find Lindstrom on your team, do you lowball the NJones owner as protection? Or should you just wait until the inevitable drop to add him?

And where, if anywhere, does Daniel Webb factor in here? Or Javy Guerra? Probably just as setup men, but I'd be interested to see where Webb goes this season.

FWIW, Jones was warming up in the 8th inning, but wasn't needed.

Nate Jones placed on the 15-day DL today with a hip muscle strain.
