AL Only Keeper Decisions

No brainers:
W. Myers $1
Kipnis $13
Iwakuma $11 (as long as good new continues on the finger)

That leaves 3 openings. I had D. Holland, Griffin, and Parker penciled in, but now they are out due to injuries.
I have Nick Castellanos for $2 in my minors. I can keep him there all year and activate him in 2015 for $2 or I can activate him now and he would be $7 in 2015.
I also have:
D. Dejesus $7
K. Calhoun $17

So bottom line questions:
Keep Castellanos in the minors or activate now?
Keep either Dejesus or Calhoun for pretty much at value?

If your going to compete this year I would activate Castellanos now. Even at $7 next season he should be good deal.

With inflation I would consider Calhoun but I would throw Dejesus back. I can't imagine having to pay more than $7 for him (but I think he'll earn $10).

What is Griffin's keeper price? He might be worth it if he's cheap enough.

Griffin is $11 so only a couple dollars under value prior to injury...

IMO, Calhoun's value has been soaring in the last 2 months, and I'm not sure why it's gotten so high. I'd cut him.
I would definitely activate Castellanos. I'd only consider any of the SPs if the prices were very low.

I'm assuming inflation in your league that can only keep up to 6 isn't so great that DeJesus goes for $7 if tossed back. (I have him for $6 in my league, and I'm not keeping him.)

I agree that Calhoun's stock as a "sleeper" who is suddenly NOT a sleeper is rising, which is why I'd be more inclined to keep him at this point. I expect him to go for at least $17 in just about all keeper leagues.

I'd make Castellanos $7 and activate him. So I'd toss DeJesus back, and activate Castellanos.

I'd activate Castellanos. I wouldn't keep Calhoun or DeJesus. I'd cut the pitchers unless they were at seriously discounted salaries.
