A's: Griffin & Parker to visit Doctors

Well, I didn't draft Medlen or Beachy, but I did draft Parker and Corbin last week...smh...

Had an injury-ravaged 2013, and already have had two SPs elect for TJ surgery before the season even starts. If my hair was long enough, I'd be trying to pull all of it out.

A.J. Griffin will receive a second opinion on his ailing right elbow from Dr. Thomas L. Mehlhoff on Tuesday.
Griffin resumed throwing recently but is still feeling pain. He was diagnosed last month with a flexor tendinitis, but the injury is sometimes a precursor to Tommy John surgery. Obviously, it's an ominous sign, but more will be known next week after Griffin is examined.
