    final keepers

    NL only 12 team ULTRA 4 x 4 keeper league 15 hitters 10 pitchers $280. League has hx of significant draft inflation e.g last yr Braun went for 57. J Upton for 48, Holliday 40 C. Lee 40, BJ Upton 38, R Soriano 33 etc.

    Current keepers

    Rosario 15
    Laroche 12
    Carpenter 10
    Desmond 19
    E Cabrera 8
    Wainwright 20
    Cashner 9
    Medlen 9
    Romo 8
    Arroyo 1

    Can keep 2 of the following Casilla 2, Dickerson 5, J Schafer 1, J Francisco 5, Denorfia 5 Lambo 6

    Which 2 would you keep and who would be your 3rd keeper if one of the 1st 2 got hurt?

    Welcome, always nice to see new blood in the old place, good to have you here.

    I guess that I'd probably keep Denorfria and Santiago, simply because of PT, and Santiago backs your Romo play. Now, if you can wait a while, both Dickerson and Lambo could end up with starting jobs, making them more valuable that Casilla, in my mind. I guess the 3rd guy would be Schafer, simply because of the steals that he can get you in pretty limited AB's.

      I would lean towards Dickerson, and right now Schafer for the speed. Even if Lambo gets the job I'm not sure he contributes that much. I know Casilla is technically Romo's backup, but are we sure he would be next up? And is it worth a keeper spot to find out? Denorfia and Francisco are in big messes too.

        I'd keep Dickerson as a spec pick that he can win the Rockies' LF job, then Schafer as a has-speed-but-please-don't-let-him-play-regularly-he'll-kill-my-BA O5 type if you must keep a second. For a third, I'd say, "Why bother?", but if you must take one, flip a coin between Casilla and Denorfia.

          I would go Dickerson and Denorfia although Casilla is good Romo insurance.

            Welcome to the board! Enjoy.
            I see it as everyone on that short list is JAG--just another guy--with the exception of the 2 young kids, Dickerson and Lambo. They, too, may be a JAG, but right now have upside that the others do not. JMHO
