If any RP is worth that, Kimbrel is. In general, any deal a top tier player at his position gets usually doesn't surprise me, especially a young player. I bet Greg Holland is having second thoughts about his $4.675 million one year deal now. He'll surely be looking for a deal similar to Kimbrel's next winter if he has another good year in 2014.

yes, I do think that's quite clear from Bob's earlier post - Kimbrel sets the ceiling, and everyone else goes below it. So even a really good season by Robertson (which I expect) is not Kimbrel-esque, hence 7-8M max....finished 10th in this 37th yr in 11-team-only NL 5x5

LOL....yeah, a guy who's got a TOTAL of 8 career saves is certainly worth of being included in the same conversation as the best closer in the game.
