Ohtani was the unanimous winner and becomes the 1st player ever to win MVP unanimously twice.

I remember many years ago when he was with the Nats and was on the IL cuz he had a pimple on his face (maybe his ass) or something like that. A reporter asked him if he was watching the Nats games while on the IL and he said something to the effect of "No, baseball doesn't interest me, I find it very boring".

                        • Trout with the torn meniscus. No timeline yet, but he will be out awhile. Such a shame. One of the best talents ever, but mid/late career injuries keep piling up. He hasn't been right since 2021, he has averaged 79 games a year. This year, it looks like his four year average is going to be dragged down.

I wonder if his return to SB this year contributed to the problem. Doubt we'll see many from him after his return.
