    Bourjos - -1.2 (28th)

Lagares also has the highest rated arm in CF on Fangraphs, and it isn't even close (12.3 to LMartin's 6.9).
Wow - amazed to see Bourjos rated so low. Cardinals fans conventional wisdom is that Bourjos is going to be great defensively, and much needed, with Holliday and Craig flanking him at the corner outfields.

For some reason, the Mets signed Bobby Abreu to a minor league deal.

The reason is they needed the final piece of the puzzle. And they got it! Go Mets!

The problem is that the puzzle, when finished, is 500 pieces that spell out, "We're mediocre".

Mediocre would represent improvement. They've been bad during these past few years.

Chris Young to the DL with a quad strain, likely sidelined 3 weeks. Wilmer Flores to stick around until then, most likely.

The Mets have scrapped the 3-headed 1st base platoon after a 1-for-12 start, and it's Lucas Duda who will be the everyday starter for the foreseeable future. Ike Davis will ride the pine.

I don't own any of the 3 heads, but how absurd to make a decision this early in the season! Either tell players their roles before the season starts, or make a change in June if someone's production justifies it.

I haven't seen this anywhere else. Where did you see this?

Ed Coleman reported it on WFAN last night around 6PM.
After former Broncos quarterback Brian Griese sprained his ankle and said he was tripped on the stairs of his home by his golden retriever, Bella: “The dog stood up on his hind legs and gave him a push? You might want to get rid of that dog, or put him in the circus, one of the two.”

"Lucas Duda gets the first full-time shot at first base for the Mets, starting Friday night.

Manager Terry Collins announced he'd pick one of the three candidates to be the starter, beginning with the series that starts Friday against the Reds, and sources indicate it will be Duda getting the nod over Ike Davis and Josh Satin.

The Mets began the year in a mini-rotation at first, but Collins has now settled on one now that all three are healthy. Davis and Duda both missed a fair amount of time in spring training, delaying the decision."

Duda makes them look smart by smacking 2 HRs today.

I still think Davis is gone at some point this season.

Or Duda. At this point, Davis has zero value, but Duda's grows with every start. They should trade Duda and take their chances with Davis if they want to maximize trade value.

This is a team that started 3 different players at 1B in the first three games, with no injury issue. It's hard to figure out what they want to do when they can't even figure it out themselves!
