Just heard Pittsburgh radio host gushing about Jared Jones "maybe" being better than Paul Skenes lol. I really doubt if that is true. But, Jones really does look like he belongs in this league. The future is looking brighter in Pittsburgh.“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.”

It looks as though Joey Bart has become Mitch Keller's personal catcher with improved results from Keller their first two games together. And if Henry Davis doesn't start hitting soon, Bart, who has homered twice in his first three games, could end up pushing for more playing time.“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.”

And now Joey Bart is experiencing after effects from getting hit in the head with a BP home run ball while catching in the bullpen a few days ago.“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.”

Paul Skenes touched triple digits a staggering 34 times on 65 pitches on Thursday in Triple-A. For the season, Skenes has reached 100 mph 74 times in 12.2 ip.
To put those numbers in perspective, consider that the MLB leader is Hunter Greene with 17 in 20.2 ip.“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.”

Paul Skenes today, pitched no-hit ball against the Cubs for six innings, striking out 11, including the first seven batters he faced.
This kid may have a future in this league.
