Tsutsugo finally showing some life the last 2 games, 3-6 with a HR, 2B, and 2 BB.

He showed last year that he's a streaky player and slow starter. As their only real free agent investment, and at $4 mil, they'll give him a bunch more rope before they pull the plug. I'm not saying he'll take advantage, but there's a chance.

Also, much better in OBP format than BA.
Larry David was once being heckled, long before any success. Heckler says "I'm taking my dog over to fuck your mother, weekly." Larry responds "I hate to tell you this, but your dog isn't liking it."

The Pirates sweep the Dodgers at Dodger Stadium for the first time in 22 years despite a payroll difference of nearly $200 million. That being said, the Pirates will now resume their inevitable 100 loss season and the Dodgers will now resume their march toward another championship. But, for 3 games, the Pirates held their own against the big boys.

Pirates call up OF Travis Swaggerty.

Swaggerty isn't in the Pirates' starting lineup on Sunday. The 24-year-old outfielder was the Pirates' 2018 first-round pick and has hit .280/.362/.439 with 4 HR & 5 SB in 35 games for Triple-A Indianapolis. He missed most of the 2021 season after season-ending surgery to repair a fully dislocated right shoulder.

How badly did the Yanks heist the Pirates last year for Clay Holmes? He just broke the Yanks' all-time record for consecutive scoreless innings (30 1/3) and appearances (30), formerly held by Mariano Rivera, and has a 0.90 ERA in 60 NYY appearances.

                  Good job, buccos!

Ex Pirate pitchers could fill up an All Star team.

                    Cole
                    Taillon
                    Musgrove
                    Holmes

                    Probably some more
