      Bob- I'm not exactly sure it would ROCK as you say it Byron.. it may be cool, by typical text book descriptions. Your opinion of this is shallow and poorly constructed, but allow me to re-craft your initial thought into something tangable.

          Not as much of a rest-of-NL East celebrator as the Howard or Utley deals, but no complaints from the rivals for the Greatest Hits reunions.

            I think the Utley deal was decent... and this one is okay. The Phillies aren't hurting for money so it's something of a non-factor. The problem is Amaro only seems capable of doing "meh" signings, there's not really any inspiration here.
            I'm not expecting to grow flowers in the desert...
