They have a good schedule the rest of the way with series against the Marlins and Rockies (2). He could hit 6 HR in those 9 games alone. I'll predict he hits Dirty diapers in the workplace and 50 at Coors in their final series.
I would prefer not to see him hit dirty diapers in the workplace.

        • Uh-oh. Tyler Glasnow had a setback with his elbow while warming up prior to a simulated game Friday.

          • Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said they are leaving the door open for Shohei Ohtani to pitch in the playoffs.

Tyler Glasnow aka "Glassarm" has been diagnosed with an elbow sprain and is likely out for the rest of 2024. It's looking like he will never come close to 200 innings in a season. He may never even make it to 150 innings.

              • Ohtani just got his 50th SB. Needs only 2 HR to become the first 50-50 player in MLB history. He has 9 more games after today, 3 of which are at Coors Field. Seems likely.

                • Previous high for steals in a 50+ HR season was 24 by Mays & A-Rod. This is truly special to watch

                  • OMG! This guy is unreal !

Shohei Ohtani hit his 49th, 50th and 51st homer and stole his 50th and 51st base all in a single game against the Miami Marlins on Thursday, bursting into history with a 6-for-6 game with three homers, two doubles, two steals, four runs and 10 RBI.

                    • And hardly any later than I made my post above, Ohtani hits 3 HRs and gets another SB to sit at 51-51! He went 6-6 on the day: 3 HR, 2 2B, 10 RBI 4 R, 2 SB!! In addition to becoming the 1st MLBer w 50 HR and 50 SBs in a season, he set the Dodgers record for RBI in 1 game and became the 2nd LA Dodger to have 6 hits in a 9-inning game (Shawn Green also did it in 2002).

Who else could possibly have a 50-50 season? Acuna might be able to do it. But it may be a long time before anyone does this again.

                      • When I first saw the news blurb I thought it was a joke and had to verify it. Because nobody has a game like that just as they are about to make history. It still doesn't seem real.

I almost hate to see him pitch next year if it's going to take away from his hitting.

                        • Shohei Ohtani also became the first player ever with 3 home runs and 2 stolen bases in the same game.
