Given the overall quality of the team, I cannot imagine the Dodgers wanting to just tank infield defense by running that set up (2B-Guerrero, SS-Gordon, 3B-Hanley) out there.
True, but Gordon really is a sub-par defender at 2nd...it's funny to hear Vin describing him dropping down to one knee to field a grounder. Every time that he makes a routine play he looks like the most relieved guy on the planet. It'll be interesting to see what happens come June, because Gordon really looks like he's become a decent hitter now...go figure.
They need to move one of those guys to catcher...

yeah, the la times story is a direct reference to the la mag one.
remarkable story, but pretty freaky shit too. those guys don't mess around - look at juarez (although, admittedly, it's better now than 5 years ago)...

Alex Guerrero now up to .355/.403/.691. With Gordon playing so well, when do we see Guerrero up?
Yeah, it's getting kinda silly now, isn't it? Seems absurd that a guy with numbers like that could be blocked, but he certainly is. I suppose this is the kind of problem you like to have, but it's still a waste of resources. Either get traded maybe?
Guerrero played shortstop last night, which was his natural position in Cuba...went 3-4 with a homer, triple, and 4 RBI. Getting ready for the inevitable Hanley injury? Or perhaps telling Hanley "hey, we've got a solution ready if you decide that you don't want to sign a long term deal at out terms"...

Uribe strained a hammy tonight and almost certainly will be placed on the DL. once Guerrero's ear heals, do we see him promoted and Hanley moved to 3b?

Matt Kemp is drawing considerable trade interest from both Seattle and Boston. What are the odds he's moved?
Not high...word from Boston is that they wopuldn't take him even if LA ate half his salary, too expensive for their tastes supposedly. Although they would do it if LA added in a top prospect or two, so it's not likely to happen.
