The brittle twins (Quentin and Maybin) are battling it out to see who is the most brittle of the brittle. Total games they'll play together in the same lineup this year over/under is at 20

And, BTW, Chase Headly needs to get the hell out of town. While I don't think he's the player that put up those 2012 stats, he's not this horrible. The park and the horrible lineup surrounding him aren't doing him any favors. He'll be gone by the trade deadline IMO (I hope). If he doesn't pick it up, he stands to lose millions, as no one is going to pay the pricetag for those 2012 stats now.

            Gyorko is friggin hideous.
After former Broncos quarterback Brian Griese sprained his ankle and said he was tripped on the stairs of his home by his golden retriever, Bella: “The dog stood up on his hind legs and gave him a push? You might want to get rid of that dog, or put him in the circus, one of the two.”

Lots of talk about him getting sent down but, obviously, the big consideration in doing that is if it will just wreck any confidence he has. Also, his wife just gave birth to twins, so they're thinking sending him to El Paso and away from his family might not help him focus while he's down there. On the flip side, can he being this horrible in the show be doing anything for his long term confidence?

I think they need to let him go down and rake for a couple of weeks. There is a ton of pressure both personally and with the new contract. Somehow they need to decompress this kid.

He originally hurt it the day before when he hit a solo home run. His excessive celebration was to mark his first RBI of the season.

Is there anything to see with Odrisamer Despaigne?

I'm too lazy to find out who gave up his major league career home run.

In the best of times, our days are numbered, anyway. And it would be a crime against Nature for any generation to take the world crisis so solemnly that it put off enjoying those things for which we were presumably designed in the first place, and which the gravest statesmen and the hoarsest politicians hope to make available to all men in the end: I mean the opportunity to do good work, to fall in love, to enjoy friends, to sit under trees, to read, to hit a ball and bounce the baby.
