Chavis is a former first round pick who hit .282 with 31 hr & 95 rbi between A/AA in 2017. A PED suspension cost him more than half of a season in 2018 but he's had decent numbers in a small sampling of AAA continuing into this year. Whenever looking at data and it looks off, a back of the envelope look is useful. You might want to try to build that into your analysis.
In this case, you have a player who is hitting with high average, getting on base at a high rate, and hitting with power.
