Blue Jays place Kevin Kiermaier on waivers.
edit: Kevin Kiermaer passed through waivers unclaimed and was in the Blue Jays’ starting lineup on Friday night.

Some interesting prospects coming back in the fire sale!
Yimi Garcia to the Mariners for Jonatan Clase OF is nice! I've been a big Clase fan for a few years.
Kikuchi to the Astros has been widely received as a robbery. Loperfido and Jake Bloss (plus Wagner) is a great return for a rental.
Kiner-Falefa is a signing that I hated from the jump, so dealing away his 2nd year while he's hot is great, and I LOVE the return of Charles McAdoo!
Others were dealt for mostly salary relief (Justin Turner, Richards, Kiermaier, Pearson, D. Jansen), but getting back under the cap for one year is a benefit to jumpstart the next competitive window. I didn't trust management to do a good job, but I'm pleasantly surprised.Larry David was once being heckled, long before any success. Heckler says "I'm taking my dog over to fuck your mother, weekly." Larry responds "I hate to tell you this, but your dog isn't liking it."

For the second time in four starts, Bowden Francis took a no-hitter into the ninth inning, only to give up a leadoff homer.
It was also the fourth time in six starts that Bowden gave up just one hit in 7 innings or more.“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.”
