  • Justin Upton Injured?

    From CBS

    Justin Upton, RF ARI
News: Diamondbacks OF Justin Upton left Sunday's game against the A's in the bottom of the fifth inning after attempting to pick up a ball in the outfield grass. The Arizona Republic reported that there was an extra ball loose in the outfield and that Upton slipped while trying to pick up one of the balls. There is currently no report as to the nature or severity of Upton's injury.

Analysis: Upton's removal could have been a precaution, but until more is known about his situation, this is a story worth following. The 23-year-old is one of the top 30 outfielders in Fantasy, so a serious injury could put a damper on the draft plans of mixed league owners. As long as he is not out for long, Upton should be considered as an early-to-mid-round pick in standard mixed leagues.

Justin Upton said he jammed his right knee while slipping in the outfield Sunday, but that the injury isn't serious.
I'm just here for the baseball.
