Lambo is a bloom is dried, crumbled and blowing down the street prospect. 25 years old, he is a high K slugger with few other assets. The question is, is there enough power and enough contact to justify picking him up in any be the deepest leagues?

He has not looked good so far. But he eventually mastered AAA so maybe with another 300 ABs he will master the majors

I can see him hitting .230 with 5-7 bombs the rest of the way. PNC Park is a good place for him to hit.

Gregory Polanco is already at Double-A and just moved to RF. He's the RF of the future, as early as mid-2014. Tabata is the 4th outfielder of the future, and Travis Snider is the Rays' breakout star in 2018 of the future. Lambo could start next year in a platoon with Tabata but eventually he'll be back at AAA waiting for injuries.

They've traditionally taken it slow with their prospects. I think they'd like to bring him up in June. He might be good enough (or their other options bad enough) to force the issue.

If Tabata is Lambo's main competition, I could genuinely see a platoon, except Lambo has had reverse platoon numbers.
