The homepage is showing the Top 10 Batting prospects for 2011 and asks if you want to order the 2010 Prospect Guide (for $40, no less). Is this a league host site too? If so I think you should make some printouts.......

I use it to get my minor leaguer stats. Is there a better place to get that info?

Don't know why it is not updating, but FirstInning.com has a lot more info than MILB.com or Baseball-Reference. They include things like BABIP, FIP, K%, Game Logs, and even break down those stats by Home/Away.

I've read this thread title correctly 10 times today, but just now I read it as fisting.com and was wondering why this was being brought up to all of us here.

I heard that they had major server issues. They hopefully can resolve them and be back up to date soon.

Does anyone know of a site that let's you select minor league players to track the way firstinning used to, all on one page?

It's nice to be able to keep an eye on how all your minor leaguers are doing without having to go each player's page or each player's minor league team page, or to keep an eye on guys you're targeting for a pickup so when they are pushing for a call up, you can grab them before your leaguemates.

Quitters never win, winners never quit, but those who never win AND never quit are idiots.

The last thing I want to do is hurt you...but it's still on the list.

Some people are like Slinkies, they are not really good for anything but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

If you log in to milb.com, you can track players by clicking on their player page and adding them to your team.

Ok, thanks J. I thought that only created a list of player bookmarks so you could get to each of their player pages a little bit more quickly.

Yeah, I'm not seeing any way to make MiLB do what I'm wanting it to do.

The closest I've found so far is The Baseball Cube. I don't think it will save your players, but if you save them as a text file in the following format, you can paste them in the following link and it will give you their YTD stats at every level and all their career stats. It doesn't give you just yesterday's stats like firstinning.com did, but I was less interested in that anyway. YTD stats is acceptable for me.

                        Japhet Amador,Bryce Brentz,Adron Chambers,D.J. Davis

It's not perfect, but it's the closest I have been able to come to replacing firstinning.com.

                        Hope it helps.

Now it looks like The Baseball Cube will do exactly what firstinning.com was doing, but for a fee, but I can't figure out what that fee is. Looks like it might be based on the number of players you want to track?

That feature appears to be broken.

I've been doing what I outlined in post #13. It's a little labor intensive, but the least labor intensive method I've found, it's been working and it is free.
