2 HBP is a creative way to go about this. fall behind in the count against a good hitter? PLUNK!

I've been watching this game in it's entirety. Teheran is dealing today. Changing speeds, working both sides of the plate. He is locked in.

As I type that...he gives up a single.

for what it's worth, both of the HBP were on 0-2 counts, one to Marte (after a couple 0-2 foul balls) and one to Walker on the third pitch.

And it would be a crime against Nature for any generation to take the world crisis so solemnly that it put off enjoying those things for which we were presumably designed in the first place, and which the gravest statesmen and the hoarsest politicians hope to make available to all men in the end: I mean the opportunity to do good work, to fall in love, to enjoy friends, to sit under trees, to read, to hit a ball and bounce the baby.

also I had just been talking myself into trading Teheran for a low-end closer. Maybe I need to reconsider this.

since his awful first three starts, he's thrown 55 IP, 50 H, 13 ER, 7 BB, 43 K (20 in his last two starts), 2.13 ERA, 1.036 WHIP.

I still worry about him getting bumped. By no means should he be but this is the Braves we're talking about and more specifically Fredi Gonzalez.....

I wouldn't think so at this point...I suspect that the Braves will simply do what they did with Medlen, put Beachy in the pen. And it's not like Beachy is tearing it up down in the minors...he's having setbacks, from what I read. I wouldn't worry, these things have a way of resolving themselves.
