I could see Carter being a 2 WAR hitter. He could even be a 2 WAR player so long as he is a full-time DH. Any time spent in the field doesn't help.

Sorry to hear this on both fronts for Altuve. At the risk of sounding like an insensitive rear, the time off to mourn his grandmother's passing will also give Altuve's jaw time to heal up better than it would have had he been playing ball. I love this guy...he's my 2B on two of my teams.
