Most of you guys on here have probably heard of him and some of you saw him in my rank my AL prospect post.
If you're in a keeper league or dynasty where you can hold onto minor league players. Picked this guy up at the end of my reserve draft this year in my AL only after I read that he finally was cleared to pitch in the U.S.
NYY Raphael DePaula is in single A. Control is an issue, but K's a ton and is really hard to hit. I really want to see how he does at the next level, so hoping to see a promotion soon, but I've read where they need him to work on his secondary pitches first, so maybe a move up late this year I hope.
3-2 / 2.70era / 1.11whip / 33.1inng / 58K's / 16bb/ .178avg against
Last night 6 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 1 B, 12 K, WP - 58 strikeouts in 33.1 IP this year
The reviews on him are pretty good and he's a lot older then most at single A (age 22, 6'2 212) and may move quickly
I believe he could be among the top prospects in baseball by the end of this season. High Ceiling type guy.
