  • VMart + Ichiro or Napoli or Hunter?

7x7 roto keeper (extra cats are hits and OPS) I'm trading away Heyward + Middlebrooks for some much needed pitching help. My lineup is pretty stacked so Napoli or Hunter would start about 3/4 of the time, VMart and Ichiro would likely split that 3/4 starting slot share. Who should I accept to help offset the loss of Heyward and Middlebrooks (who starts less than 1/2 the time) from my lineup?

I'll take Napoli out of that group being the least old and decrepit. VMart and Ichiro look like trash, and Hunter has abandoned the power stroke, stopped running and his average will correct due to a sky-high BABIP (.417). Although last year he did sport a .389, so maybe lightning strikes twice, but I still take Napoli.

Thanks, I'm leaning that way too. He plays more often than V-Mart, even during inter league.

Hmmmm...I'd have to go with Hunter here (I'm assuming BA is also a category). Agree with Wanksta that mid .350s is unsustainable, but .300 is certainly feasible, and Napoli, if you're lucky, hits .250. Hunter gets more hits, and probably won't be a lot lower in OPS.
I'm just here for the baseball.

Thanks, Yup average counts but I went ahead and took the deal with the Napoli option. So given my track record with these kinds of decisions Napoli might not hit 220 and Torii will remain in the 350s all year.
