Even if he does avoid the DL I have to assume that a broken pinkie would pretty painful with a wooden baseball bat and his power would take a bit of a hit until he's healed up.

If I owned Morse and he does avoid the DL I'd be shopping him based on his great start and how much of a beast he is for playing through the pain. People get caught up in hot starts and it impacts judgement.
