14 Team Nl Only

Here is my Fourteen Team NL only auction league. 4x4 with a $260 Cap. Minor League Players get called up to 3S @ $5. This is year 2 for me after taking over a last place team. I am fairly confident that I will be competing this year but am wondering what pitfalls you guys could foresee. My two favorite buys are Garza at $10 and Parra at $5.

I want to mention that Lecure is tied to Garza... I did not spend $10 on him but added as a replacement. (although he did get a win last night!)

For some perspective, Braun went for $49, Kershaw $43, Papelbon $40, Tulo $38, Jay Bruce $31, Beltran $25, Michael Young $22, Daniel Murphy $15

LOL at the dentist comment. League has been around since the 80s, but this is my second year in the league. They actually eliminated an OF and cut a utility spot due to the Astros leaving.

As far as Didi... I literally have nobody not named Justin Sellers or Cesar Izturis to replace him with.

Yeah he cost $6. The UT spot was a swing spot for either pitcher or hitter. I wasn't apart of the rules change committee but that's what they did I believe. I'm pretty sure they cut down the position eligibility to 5 starts as well.

One or more in your league must have realized that if you slot all those 1B/OFs at OF--like Craig, Hart, Morrison, and Cuddyer--you can cause a 1B squeeze. Having LaRoche going in in my 4x4, I made sure I bid full price on those guys to fill an OF slot, though I didn't get any of them. In my 5x5 w/o a 1B going in, I was the squozen one, having to pay full price for Hart.
