A guy just won a bid on him late last night in my league. And I almost put a bid in, too -- forever the optimist. I hope the dude can survive retirement at this point.

Brian Roberts (hamstring) is expected to be placed on the disabled list prior to Friday's game.
It's certainly no surprise. Roberts left Thursday's game after feeling a pop in his right hamstring near the back of his knee, and it's possible he'll require a lengthy absence. Yamaico Navarro is expected to replace him on the roster.
