How Did I do in NL Only Mini Tout Wars?

I had never heard of this league before (I think they advertised for the opening on Cafe). NL only, eleven teams, standard 5x5, non keeper auction. Standard 23 man spots (2 catchers) with six bench spots. I had no idea how prices were going to go but figured they would be close to LABR. Here's how I did-

you are balanced with really no studs but nobody really too horrible either

except you spent 8 on a one dollar catcher - that money could have gotten you a $6 middle and a $5 util and that might come back to haunt you.

also matt carpenter I cant imagine is a $15 player - expecially at third

I like your pitching prices better than your hitting prices, which almost all seem over-sticker price (Carpenter scares me; versatility is great but is he that good?)

H-Ram seems like a HUGE key to your season.

Seems like a pretty good effort overall. These aren't easy...

Yeh I overpaid on a few. I really like both Brantley and carpenter for this year (and the few extra bucks on carpenter I can live with for his multi position eligibility even though I regretted him after I bought him). What was crazy was the closers. Kimbel went first for $29 then Chapman for $25. I felt lucky to get Soriano for $20. Even guys like Bentancourt and Grilli went for $14.

If you don't pay for closers then you don't get any. You pay the piper, and look to double back elsewhere. I think you mined that mine field properly....

Even if you overpaid at C, your OF prices are on point. As I said, pretty good job overall.

Nice team. Hanley is the key to the whole thing. If he comes back and produces, you'll probably be right there at the top in the end. If he's out longer than expected or comes back and doesn't produce, you're going to likely need to find a way to get more steals, etc.
