Rotoworld:
Adam Eaton will miss 6-8 weeks with a UCL strain in his left elbow.
Ugh. Eaton has been a player that I have a huge man crush on this spring as I was expecting big things from him. I figure on some cosmic level this is my fault for hyping him so much. For that, I apologize.

"Adam Eaton will miss 6-8 weeks with a UCL sprain in his left elbow.
Tough break for one of Rotoworld's favorite sleepers. It's not clear when the injury took place, but Eaton did make an early exit from Monday's game. As of now, he's expected back in mid-to-late May, but ulnar collateral ligament injuries can be tricky. With Cody Ross (calf) questionable for the start of the season, the Diamondbacks could have an outfield of Jason Kubel, Gerardo Parra and A.J. Pollock on Opening Day. Parra is officially worth owning in deeper mixed fantasy leagues. "
ouch. along with parra, pollock was a prospect at one point and may be worth a flyer.

so much for a jam in the OF for arizona, I hope this means Parra finally gets the 500AB season he's never had
"You know what's wrong with America? If I lovingly tongue a woman's nipple in a movie, it gets an "NC-17" rating, if I chop it off with a machete, it's an "R". That's what's wrong with America, man...."--Dennis Hopper

Adam Eaton is dealing with renewed soreness in his left elbow and has returned to Phoenix for an examination.
Bad news. Eaton, who was diagnosed with a sprained ulnar collateral ligament in March, began playing in rehab games earlier this month and felt well enough to return to center field last week. However, the pain has returned. The worst-case scenario would be season-ending Tommy John surgery, but it's not clear if that's a consideration yet. But it's obviously a concern.
