Bauer, because should be in the rotation for a significantly longer period, and he's in a weaker division.

I have a lot more faith in Tampa's ability to work with a hard-working kid than I do Cleveland's ability to try to tinker with a guy who often spurs at criticism. I think Bauer's mighty talented, but Archer has a much higher likelihood of getting the most out of his skills, and Bauer's control scares the heebie jeebies out of me in the immediate. I like Archer better both for this year and in the future, too.

Bauer this year... c'mon, Kazmir, Carrasco, Ubaldo, McAllister... those guys aren't long-term solutions.

Archer for the future. Though I have no idea how the Rays' rotation shakes out long-term if Price sticks around. I think given Archer's makeup he is a guy they are going to want to keep around.
