    Depends on your trading rules. If it's easier/harder to move a guy who's $15 vs. $10 (or who has two years remaining vs. one year on a contract), factor that in.

      I'd extend him two years. I also agree with Hornsby that he's probably more valuable as a closer, because there's far less risk. As a starter, there's perhaps a higher ceiling, but also a much higher risk of failure.

        I guess I am in the unique position of owning ----in their 2nd year--- both Chapman and Broxton. I do think, though, that if Chapman is successful as a starter he will have so much more value than even as a closer. Plus, I get a bonus closer!
