      Grady:

Is this from an offshore book or Vegas. Thanks

Got it from a offshore book.

Geez, wins are unpredictable enough as it is.

Given how unpredictable wins are, I'd be hesitant to bet on any of them. But Lincicum at 14.5 looks good on the over to me. I'd bet the under on Heath Bell since I think you'll have a good chance of winning just due to a trade.

Do you think it is possible that Bell would be traded to a team that wants to use him as a set up man, or are you saying he'ld just save less games on another team?

Wins and saves are unpredictable as it is, and then they're charging juice both ways for a lot of these. Ouch.

Isn't Bell going to sign an extension? I'd stay away from him either way. Here's what I like:

                MARIANO RIVERA SAVES o34˝-120
                DAVID PRICE WINS u15˝-150
                JOSH JOHNSON WINS u13˝-150
                COLE HAMELS WINS o14˝-120
                TREVOR CAHILL WINS u13˝-140
                FRANCISCO CORDERO SAVES u32˝-120

If you just took the top 15 pitchers for wins and bet the under for all of them, I bet you'd go 8-7 or better.

By the way... Vegas seems to know more about football than most fantasy football experts. I wonder if the same is true for baseball. You could probably use these over/unders as projections that are as good or better than Shandler, PECOTA, etc. Or pick the ones with the highest juice in one direction and feel pretty confident that they'll happen. The 140s and above:

                  JOSH JOHNSON WINS u13˝-150
                  ROY OSWALT WINS o13˝-150
                  CLAY BUCHHOLZ WINS u14˝-140
                  CC SABATHIA WINS o16˝-140
ROY HALLADAY WINS u17˝-140 --- OK, I wouldn't bet on this one
                  TREVOR CAHILL WINS u13˝-140

The only teams that Bell would become a set-up man for are the Yankees and Giants. Otherwise he's closing if he gets traded.

Guys like Jack Hanrahan are the ones you have to worry about in that regard.

If you go 8-7 you end up losing a lot of money.

On most of the higher budget teams that would take him, he'd be setting up, but not all, IMO. I see the Yanks, Cubs, and Giants as three of those potential options, with the Yanks being most prominent if Soriano gets hurt or suffers from Vazquezitis.
