Who would you rather have this year in a 14 team mixed points league? I just traded Beltre for Headley, saving a $7 in the process, and wanted to check in to see if others see these two as being close in production this year. I wanted to save the cash and thought that Headley would be close enough to Beltre this year that the savings was worth the swap. The other guy worried about regression for Headley enough to trade for the relative certainty of Beltre. Which camp are you in?

The other factor is that both are at good prices, but only Headley can be kept next year as well. That is what pushed me over the edge. Of course, if Headley regresses a lot, that isn't really a bonus. -
Tough call. I like Headley, but I don't think the 30 HR are real. For this year, I would take Beltre even with the $7 difference. Headley being keepable, however, may even it out, depending on how good the prices are.Comment
