And now he has a broken bone in his foot, out at least a month

Brett Anderson (ankle) is expected to be sidelined until August at the earliest.
Anderson is still working his way back from a stress fracture in his right foot and will be forced to remain in a walking boot for at least another four weeks. The Athletics have transferred him to the 60-day disabled list and he won't be reevaluated until after the All-Star break.
