Trade Advice - Pick Two

Which two would you rather have in an NL-only 5x5 league?

Jedd Gyorko $8/year 1
Todd Frazier $8/year 2

OR

Matt Harvey $5/year 2
Nolan Arenado $8/year 1

Thanks in advance. Trying to decide which trade to accept.

I tend to go for the offensive guys first so I'd lean Frazier and Gyorko.

I'd probably take door 1 one in the end, but I think it is close. Harvey looked really good last year, and Arenado has a shot to make the opening day roster.

Well, that begs the question....why are we all on side 1, when many of us see great upside in Harvey? Do others think Arenado is worthless?

I think Arenado will be better than Gyorko and I would likewise prefer Harvey to Frazier

Pretty much, yeah. I honestly think it's pretty even, but Arenado could still easily start the year at AAA, and then you're paying $8 for him. Plus Harvey is already in the 2nd year of his deal. And if you value Frazier/Harvey similarly, then it makes sense to take the hitter since, well, TINSTAAPP, doubly so for Mets.
