Summary: Shut down for 7-10 days, no game activity for 3-4 weeks. Would have a week of spring games to pitch in before Opening Day if that schedule holds, so it seems likely that Pestano would get save opps to start season.

The last place team is offering him up ($13 for 2014). Seems like a good contract as long as he stays in the AL. Is he better than a $1 Soria? I could offer that straight up. I don't need him this year with Holland, Uehara, Benoit and Reed (all expiring, so maybe I flip one of them). Thoughts?
