Hamilton is sliding down the rankings. Mid 30s from BA and BP and outside the top 50 from Law who in the podcast is now wondering if Hamilton is just going to become a defensive replacement and pinch runner.

He's sliding down my rankings, too, but not all that far. He may be just taking a while to adjust to AAA. He only spent a couple months at AA last year, and I was surprised they started him out at AAA this year. He's also adjusting to playing CF this year. However, I did expect him to make progress by now and he just hasnt. But I still think of him as a future MLB regular, which means he has great roto value because of the SBs.

DeShields' year also has been underwhelming, altho arguably he's holding his own at Hi-A, albeit at a hitter's haven. His SBs and SB% are down, too. But he hasnt really dropped on my list yet. John Sickels ranked him #62 on his recent mid-season list, which is encouraging. Recently at BP, there was a note from a scout that said he has terrible makeup, which I had not heard before, and that he probably winds up in the OF, which might have happenned anyway since Houston just signed Altuve to a multi-year extension. I'm interested if anyone else has a comment on his makeup.

You RHD. Where would you rank Jose Abreu? I picked him up on a waiver claim and plan to use one of my keeper spots for him costing me $5 in a standard league instead of being able to stash him on my minors roster.
