Keep or Toss MRs?

12-team, 10-man pitching staff, 5x5 NL-only.

Keep Sergio Romo $1 and/or Sean Marshall $1? Both would enter into their second year of their contract if I kept them.

League allows plenty of keepers so this is just a keep-or-toss decision.

On the one hand, they seem like good values; on the other hand, why waste the opportunity to take a different MR for $1 who would be in the first year of his contract, should he win the closer job.

those MRs are waiting for elite closers to go down. I would toss them back for MRs with more upside for saves.

I'd keep Romo and toss Marshall. Marshall is at least behind both Marmol and Wood in the saves pecking order.

I agree. I assume that Madson/Kuo types go for a few bucks.
