Do you think he even physically made it to Toronto?

Is that screaming sound I hear Napoli's fantasy value dropping like a rock?
I'm just here for the baseball.

I'm guessing that this means that Feliz is going to remain the closer for the Rangers...

They have other options, Scheppers in the minors and Ogando. But you could be right. It is interesting because the last I heard was that they were going to see how he handled starting in Spring Training and go from there.

Really, why? I think Mitch Moreland's value just got knocked.

I don't like this trade for Toronto. I think Napoli is far more valuable than another reliever.
Some people say winning isn't everything. I say those people never won anything.

Quitters never win, winners never quit, but those who never win AND never quit are idiots.

They get a good arm and get to slot Encarnacion to DH while Arencibia catches. Seems fine to me.

I don't know if it's because the Angels didn't utilize him or what but I think Napoli is starting to be over rated. He has power and gets in base but if he weren't a catcher and it looks like he won't be, he's just another guy.

wow - at the end of the day I was going to post a question to the pen asking who would be a good trading partner for Napoli given that he doesn't really seem to fit in with the Jays plans ... guess I have to be quicker off the mark.

overall I like this - with the Jays very young rotation we're gonna need a lot of quality arms in the pen. Francisco becomes the closer with three reasonable setup men. I just hope he can stay healthy.

And I agree with BigJon - if Napoli isn't catching, he's just another 1B/DH type.
It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.
